I've had these for 5 yrs and didn't want to deal with the noise from my old canon 7d. Going through old stuff with the extra time, covid, I found these and now I'm posting them. I was on this Northern Pygmy Owl, when it went to ground. I don't know if it just caught this rodent or if it was cached. Light was falling fast. You can see my shutter speeds and ISO. It was going to town on the rodent, looking up and all around as it consumed the rodent. The last image, it flew up to a limb with prey and looked around. The light was so low, I went to the pop up flash to get the image, hardly ever using flash before on a bird. I think this may be the last time I used a flash on a bird. Then it went into a small 15 ft. dense fir, which turned out to be a good move. As I was walking to my car, close by, I saw why it was so wary. A Barn Owl came through hunting right where the pygmy was. Thanks for looking.
