These juveniles had only been flying for a day or so. Looks like the adult was trying to teach them mid-air transfers, with partial success. At times a young one would drop the food, and at one point missed the food and crashed into the adult!

This was also the first time I was able to observe more than one juvenile trying to get food at the same time. C&C always welcome.

Excellent action Fred. The first has the nicest positions as we see all the heads. 2, 3, 5 and 6 have the best exposures

Wonderful images, Fred! You made the most out of the afternoon when we got lucky that being able to capture their actions. Although they did similar activities yesterday but most of the action was behind tall trees from where we were...
