Thanks to the plague, I haven't taken any trips this year so far. Instead, I've been beating the crap out of myself hiking in the local mountains with long hikes to some places I've been before, and some challenging places I hadn't yet.
All of the following were originally taken in my Olympus EM1 Mk2's hi-res mode that gives 80mp raw files.
Rawah wilderness. Pano shot, the full size version is something like 31000 x 10000 pixels. Someday gonna get this printed huge to go on the wall. I had taken a pano shot from this location last year in worse lighting (thin, wispy clouds) and wanted to go back when it was nicer. Sat at this location for a good half hour taking shots.

Northern of the Twin Crater Lakes. A scramble down from where the previous shot was taken.

Rowe glacier. Roughest hike I've done so far as far as the numbers go (mileage/elevation gain.)

These guys were hanging out on the approach to Rowe glacier. First time I've seen these truly in the wild and not right by the road causing traffic jams as people stop to take pictures.

Sprague glacier. Some nasty terrain on the approach to this one (up Spruce canyon) and some sketchy terrain on the exit (going up and out from Sprague pass.)

Frozen lake.

Black lake from above, looking at Longs Peak, the keyboard of the winds and the spearhead. Would like to go back to this spot again in better light/conditions. The Cameron Peak fire has it a bit hazy.

The strange thing that I found this year is that after each of these hikes, I couldn't sleep. Would get home around 10pm, in bed by 11pm, and then I'd be exhausted but totally awake until around 5am. Has not happened in previous years. Some kind of weird endorphin overload? Endorphins not getting processed due to getting older? Beats me.
