Is there a recommended photo tour guide of private or semi private type, in the Colorado area and surrounding few states.
Has someone tried someone and recommends, and would that work with a short advance notice, this September and October still?

I have 1 or 2 weeks to spend, and many of the great photos, even here, don't say where they are from, plus I would benefit from the company and advice as well as specific spots and locations.

For Colorado, I recommend Glenn Randall:

I have not personally attended one but I have run into him while he was conducting a workshop and he was very nice and the attendees seemed to have really enjoyed it.

I spent several personal tours with Robert Body in Colorado, Death Valley, Arizona, Utah and in Wyoming
http://robertbody.com/main/2018-land/tours.html

In Utah I was able to co-ordinate a family vacation with photo half days, and the other times it was 3-5 days of exploring excellent yet not so frequented spots. In Colorado specifically we followed a steep winding dirt road I would have never found myself. We went to many unique and new to me spots. The atmosphere was perfect, I learned a lot, and all the locations were special and I want to return to those locations. The lake reflections, desert sand dunes (without tourists), early morning fog, our time together ended too soon and while the photo opportunities were excellent, the overall photo aura and takeaway was even greater. Even during bad weather we could review his past fantastic photos and what the "secrets" were to getting those pictures.

Highly recommended. Especially if you want that one-on-one attention and freedom to ask and discuss anything about landscape and even animal photography.

Colorado especially is where I want to spend more time.
