It was nice of the heron to pose for you before heading south.
My pick is the first one. Excellent pose and background.
The last two are a puzzle. Did the heron catch the bug and release it, or are they out of order?

Thank you Dave,
The first is a classic pose and works for the reasons you stated. The last two are in order. The wasp escaped and the heron never opened it's mouth. I suspect it missed the wasp which may have been a good thing for the little
Greenie.
