I'm very lucky that Richmond Royal Park is quite close to where I live.
It's amazing that we have such amazing green space for wildlife within our capital city.

Coots are very common, but even so I think you can get worthwhile pictures of them.

These were taken on 2 separate visits. I hope you like them.

Both images are nice, John! I like the low angle, which is key for photographing water fowls. I saw images of coot chicks although I have not photographed them. Unlike the adults, they are quite colorful and .... also cute.

Coot chicks are quite cute and you can see where the phase as a bald as a coot comes from not the adults.
Not that I can talk ;-)
