Lovely set from my neck of the woods! Going to the parkway to shoot the Milky Way is something I've wanted to do for a few years, but haven't done it yet. I have gotten some of it from my house, but still too much light pollution from Asheville to get it well.

thanks! Yeah we got lucky with a pretty clear night with no moon. The wind was pretty strong from Waterrock, and it was quite chilly as well as that distant storm to deal with. But overall I was glad for that opportunity, just wish I had more prep.
