Hey FMers
Wanted to share a video and some images I took this past friday for those interested in the R5 and 100-400II and handheld slomo video and some pic samples. All the images were in Electronic 20fps mode, was testing to see if I could see rolling shutter, well the flight shot below is 1/1250 SS and took probally 50 of this osprey in flight this evening. %99 percent were sharp, major problem with this camera haha. Way to many to cull through. wish there was a slower fps option is ES. there is some blur in the wings on a couple but many were sharp. could be many things though. But I would'nt hesistat using ES for BIF. i'll be testing more. The camera just tracks like no other Canon DSLR body (I've had 6 prior)
I'll def be adding another R5 or whatever they call the R1 eventually. if you want to follow me on my flickr account you'll see R5 and 600III samples as well.
Hopefully I can link to the youtube video of 3 slomo clips I edited together. First part of the clip is 4k 60fps slowed down x2 and the last two clips are 120fps 4k . I used Handbrake to transcode the clips so I can edit in my old Powerdirector 16 Video software which I use to make video's there are no adjustments in post processing besides that transcoding,, just standard right out of camera. looks pretty good I'd say. Gonna be fun getting short clips of Elk and Moose rutting this Fall. The R5 is the perfect Camera for my use, so far we'll see how IBIS and the camera handles the cold weather this winter.
Handheld sitting in my car the video's are. Video link at the bottom uploaded in 2160P 4k
