Just a bunch of shots from this past weekend of shooting....pickings are slim right now....I'm patiently awaiting the wintering birds to arrive for something new to shoot.

Real nice set Geoff. The first and the oystercatcher are my favorites in this lovely set.

A lot of our herons seem to have migrated about a month early. I'm thinking the winter is going to be brutal here in NYC after a hot summer and a very mild winter last year.

I've see a zillion GBH shots.
Regardless your #7 is a beauty.
The light, background, pose, foot dragging in the water and your low shooting angle make an exceptional image.

Thanks Dave. The foot drag was what I liked most about this shot and I had a whole series of different foot positions at 20FPS on the R5 (which you can't shoot any slower in ES). My only complaint is the head angle was always slightly away as in this shot. It never turned towards me during the entire series of shots I culled through.

Sweet frames Geoff. The Waxwing and Hummer are super, as well as the dipping Oystercatcher and a very cool shot of the Pigeon with full spread
