These were taken with a Rodenstock XR Heligon 90mm f/.95 projection lens, Sony A7ii, and extension rings, not quite wide open. I think I am finally getting the hang of this lens for flower macros. I like the dreamy look.

Lovely and soft, Charles and personally, I enjoy images with a little bit sharp parts of the flowers more, like in the first two.

Thanks. Yes, I know what you mean, Morris. The razor thin DOF makes it a bit challenging though.

Thanks Joshua. Yes, they are my favorites as well. The thin DOF is always a challenge with this lens!

These are all so lovely !!! I enjoyed each one . I appreciate your compositions , not easy to do with such a narrow depth of field. Very nicely done.

Thanks. Yes, I get it. The lens is generally soft so even focused areas may not be superbly sharp. I am thinking of using a tripod from now on. Perhaps that will help!
