Like a number of you, I'm a big fan of the Green Heron. I had the good fortune to capture this juvenile in Chesapeake, VA earlier today.

Appealing and entertaining. Very common in spring and summer around natural lakes and ponds, and stormwater control ponds.

Interesting pose
Consider brushing some more contrast and a somewhat deeper blackpoint over the heron.
