This was taken with a sigma 105mm macro... Which I had to send in for service. My only remain nice.lens is a 24-105mm IS USM L. Ive done tests previous years but always ended up liking the sign better. Of course I need to take some shots of the next few days. In theory, should I be able to attain this with the aforementioned lens? I'm an amateur so by no means am I trying to say this is a killer photo... That being said, I'm open to tips and suggestions. Excuse the low res, I sniped it from my Instagram feed.

Yes you should be easily able to take that shot with the Canon lens. Just don't shoot it wide open as that lens is pretty soft wide open!
Shoot at about f8 at 80mm, or just do the same thing!

Prime lenses are typically a bit sharper than zoom lenses, but other than that, you should be able to recreate this shot with your existing lens.

should be doable. The macro would be better if you're doing detail shots of individual buds and such. You might have to crop in a little to get this framing depending on the size of the plant you're photographing, but still totally usable. Could also try an extension tube
