I initially was really drawn in to this image until I saw what appears to be significant WA distortion. I think this would have been *much* stronger with a longer FL.
Also not sure why her hands and arms are *so* dirty. Is that the PP or intended for the image?

Great gritty feel to this and I think that fits with the W/A perspective. I often do portraits with a 35 on FF. THere is also a close intimate feeling to being in close.

The focal length used here doesn't bother me either. It is meant to be a gritty portrait, I guess although the outfit doesn't quite fit that theme. Still, that's an excellent image, I would say.
p.1 #9 · p.1 #9 · Young girl portrait, abandoned city
Interesting and I like it.
Is it just me but when I read the post title "Young girl portrait, abandoned city" I didn't expect to see what I would call a young woman. I know its semantics but girls are generally referring to adolescent females which this subject is clearly not.
Maybe another reason I don't like titling my photos, !

Thank you for the feedback, JBPhotog!
I think it is a translation issue.
