Now the hair looks good - defined against the background instead of fading into it. Thanks to jecottrell, I suppose.

Thank you for your comments... Well no really..., I tried a few differents lighting setups,... one of them is this one and other fading into the backgroud.... I just did, as I said, different things with the lighting... always trying things....

I enjoy this image and most of the time, I like the subject to be off center. But somehow, maybe she is placed too far to the left. Somehow the elbow are is cropped a little awkwardly. I dunno...But it is a great image nonetheless.

I love black background shots. Most of my portrait work is black background. There's so much you can do with it. It works for corporate work, high contrast/Rembrandt photos. I am having trouble posting them to here from my website for some reason, but if you'd like to check them out, they are here
