Yes, a slight rim light would have been great. Or anything that would make your cute model show a more separation from the background. If you have another flash unit that you can trigger remotely, you can use it and put the flash both ways, facing the back of the model or alternatively, facing the background to create a slightly brighter background around her. It is an excellent portrait for a cute girl regardless.
