An early morning shot of a dew covered Metallic Beetle. This was the second field test of the new diffuser that I built for the MT-26EX RT. I have two more diffuser designs in the works, but I'm waiting on the materials to build them.

Tech Specs: Canon 80D (F11, 1/125, ISO 200) + a Canon MP-E 65mm macro lens (2x) + a diffused MT-26EX RT (E-TTL metering). These are single, uncropped, frames taken hand held. In post I used Topaz Denoise AI, Sharpen AI, and Clarity in that order on the first image, but on the second I thought that the sharpening in Denoise Ai looked good so I used it instead of Sharpen AI.

Possible ID: Anthaxia fulgurans

Good looking images John. Why did you need denoise at ISO 200?

Thanks! For one of the images I wanted to remove the noise before I sharpened it, and in the other I just used the sharpening in Denoise AI. There wasn't very much noise in either photo, couldn't see it unless viewing the images at 100% pixels.
