This battle had at least 10 gulls attacking one tern. First image the gull takes away the bait and it immediately gets attacked by the rest of the gang. Last image is the victor flying right at us. Hope to get back to see these birds again, they are non stop. no need to put the camera down action. There are close to 10,000 Royal Terns with young all over a 1/4 mile stretch of beach that has a few thousand gulls contesting every meal the terns bring to the young.These were also shot in sunny Florida the day the Sahara Desert dust cloud covered the whole state so there was no sun creating no shadows.
