... wasn't any hike at all. This was in a clear-cut area on the banks above the Dungeness River less than a half mile from my house. It is an area I go to frequently to try to get bird pictures. Quality of light was nice because it was late afternoon.

...Sequim is still famous for its lavender festival, which would normally be about to start, but haven't anything about it yet. But then, I've been isolating for a week. Blondies Plate is my favorite in town. It has an incredible Mac-n-Cheese.

) had elk. I remember reading it as famous for its lavender and crab festival. Had a nice lunch at then Lipperts Cafe (a converted small church). Looks like now the new restaurant is known as Blondie's Plate.
