Love the Thrashers Leah! Those are beautiful

You have some great detail, sharp eyes and some very nice poses.
If I could suggest something to help............take a look at how the out-of-focus areas that come toward the camera are distracting, if you are set up in one spot I would suggest altering the perch position. Also the light colored perches appear a bit dominant, darker sticks will reflect less light and not stand out as much in the image. Your bird shots are really excellent, now control some of the elements to strengthen the image overall
