Morning All,

First time posting, long time lurking. I hail from the Fundy Region ( Atlantic Canada ) and it's literally a photographer's paradise here.

Mainly a landscape / seascape imager, but I dabble in bird photography. Nothing serious on that end, as I lack the super long lenses Was away from the camera for quite a while - life busy - but I've been making a serious effort to re inject the camera back into my life.

Anyway, couple images from an early morning adventure a couple weeks ago ; thanks for looking.

I like the gradations between pink and blue. Very peaceful.

Thank you very much. Glad you guys like these. We headed south towards Maine with a certain area in mind. Spotted a glimpse of this lake through the trees off the highway, took the next exit and successfully found the spot. One of those places where I feel most weather conditions would yield some nice shots. Can't wait to go there on a foggy morning.

Thank you for the kind words, I appreciate it. We're in New Brunswick, Canada but it's under a 3 hour drive to the border from my house. All kinds of little towns / fishing towns all the way south to Maine, and we always end up stopping somewhere before the spot we wanted to actually go check out lol.

You have the basics nailed! Strong comps, clean foregrounds, controlled exposure and not overly process or saturated.
I lived in Canada for 8 years and love the Bay of Fundy area - both inland and its crazy tidal areas.

I ...we.... love Maine and the whole Northern Coast.......the rocks versus sand seem to bring you back into a time when they were just viewed for the 1st time...not too far back but enough to believe very few others saw this same view...!! Grains are nice for swimmimg but....
Excellant!! Well I hope if you do get Down East, you will document and post for us down South can enjoy!
Dan

Thank you sir, I appreciate the comments. I learned on film during high school and still shoot the same way. I do little to no editing actually ; the occasional dust mote, and some colour balance.
I'll garden a shot before wasting time cloning out. I don't do HDR / blended exposures. ND / ND Grad filter kit is all. I'm sure I'm missing out on some things, sometimes by not doing a blend shot, but, I like the purist pursuit.

Grew up here, wife and I moved to Calgary for a little over 10 years, in our early 20's, and missed the water more than we thought we ever would. We can drive about 5 minutes and the Bay of Fundy is right there, it's great.
