Dave and Bill - the iPhone panorama shot was a quick and playful playful attempt to record what was a magnificent sky. It comes out cooked as an attractive jpeg, yes, but the scene with the 5DS, if you look closely, is a tiny window of the pano. The files out of the iPhone are fine for web display but they are nowhere as robust as those out of the 5DS.
