Stuck at home during the pandemic, so I've been mostly photographing things I can see from my balcony.
Few days ago we had a weird sunset which created an intense double rainbow. Unfortunately my view wasn't good enough for the full arch (1st photo).
However as rainbow started to fade, lightning storm moved in, so I started a timelapse and went back to work.

Somewhere in the 650 frames of the timelapse, I managed to capture some really cool lightning. I have never seen lightning superimposed on a rainbow either, so that was something new to me.

All shot with Sony A7R3 and Canon TS-E 17mm

Nice! You certainly can go out to shoot safely if you're alone and avoid others.

All of these images are lovely, but the capture of the rainbow with lightning is a gem!

Nice is a far understatement. Impressive is more deserving.

Anyway my favorite is the second image. Love the sky of the last image as well. Impressive shots.

Amazing images. I can't decide if I like #3 or #4 better. Either or would be an incredible print on the larger end.

Lightning and rainbow together are a cracker. I liked the last one as well with that huge mass of cloud looming over.

We seem to have lots of rainbows now, and Saharan dust cloud is moving in so I'm getting ready. I started another time timelapse few days ago when I saw lightning move in - didn't get any lightning, but a very nice rainbow!
