A very nice set Dave. Lots of nice perches, clean backgrounds and lots of details off of that pixel-rich sensor.

Thank you Geoff! All those pixels helped on those last two shots. I cropped them ridiculously just to see if they'd hold up.

Nicely done! Your sandbox looks a lot like mine but you've captured some nice poses in challenging light. Kudos for the mood and detail you got with these.

Thanks Kim! I see you're located in my old stomping grounds. I use to live south of Rocha..cha near Conesus. I miss that area. Lat time I was up there I found several Eagles around there now.

I particularly like #4 and the nuthatch close-up.
Are these all natural light or do you provide some illumination?

Thanks Dave, and yes these are all natural light from late afternoon. I loved the spot light effect I got on the Cardinals.

Oh, interesting! I just moved here about a year ago from the Jamestown area (though I grew up in the Finger Lakes, was out West for about 20 years before Southern Tier). Now I'm challenged to find good, "people-free" photo sites. Have been to Conesus some, but not a lot. Seen some eagles in-flight and a few nests but no great shooting opps. Any suggestions on places to go?
