You should hold onto the H1 a bit longer and then go from T2 to T4 to keep IBIS

I upgraded from the T2 to the T4 primarily for IBIS, which has been great. In addition what people mentioned above, there's a lot of quality of life improvements I noticed from upgrading (never tried the T3, so some of these probably apply to that one too):

1) The buttons are all much clicky-er on the T4 than on my T2.
2) There is now a 2 axis level instead of just the horizontal one
3) When shooting raw only and going to zoom on the focus point, you now get the full zoom in; on my T2, the zoom would be
...Show more

Can you set it up, so only horizontal level line is displayed?
I used to keep it on old the time, T1-T3, it didn't bother me at all, but I can't say so for some other cameras like Nikons, I would turn it on only for landscapes of the tripod.

I also love my X-T2, but really do want IBIS at this point. I use adapted lenses quite a bit and recently picked up a Sigma 150-600mm to try to get some decent shots of the moon and the birds that fly around the park by my house. 600mm with no stabilization is ok for shots of the moon. No go for birds. Hoping for an XH-2 to pair with the X-T2, whenever that mythical camera should ever arise. And hope it will be 36 MP or so (great for cropping).

Has anyone used the X-T4 or H1 with long telephotos? Would rather not get a Nikon body that would make use of the optical stabilization in that Sigma.

Yes, the normal horizontal level exists part of the EVF/LCD settings and works as it did on previous Fuji cameras. The 2 axis level only shows up when you activate it with a function button. When you do this, you also lose access to the small histogram too, which kinda sucks.

I'm in the same boat as you; I keep the normal horizontal level on all the time as I'm bad about my horizons and plan on using the 2 axis one on a tripod. Since I use it infrequently, I have it set to a touch screen swipe instead of a physical button.

It's hard to say if I get to use 2 axis option, but I'm happy that Fuji didn't integrate horizontal line into it.
Thanks for taking your time to answer it!
I'm still waiting for my Silver X-T4/16-80mm kit, it's been delayed again, my local dealer messaged me.

I upgraded from x-t2 to x-t3, made all my fast primes more usable indoors (23f/1.4, 35f/1.4, 56 f/1.2 APD), x-t3 locked focus faster and with more accuracy.

Using x-t2 with the old fast primes, I sometimes ended up with out of focus pictures even the subject is static and the focus is supposed to be locked (green box + beep). No problems with x-t3.

I had an xpro2 and xt3. I sold the xt3 because there really wasn't a huge difference in AF, Battery life and overall usage.

After reading the comments that my fellow forum members have made, I have decided to add an X-T3 to my Fuji kit. B&H shipped and it should be here on Friday. I'm looking forward to shooting it with my 16-80/4.

I appreciate all of your thoughtful responses.

Many say that it is very unlikely that Fujifilm will repeat the error they did with the X-H1 and X-T3 and release them too close together.

Thus I would expect the X-H2 to not be published before 2021. And the X-T5 not before 2022.

The X-H2 is also rumored to get a 45 Megapixel sensor, which would allow the camera to support 8K video.

Personally I'm convinced that the X-H2 wont get the same monitor as the X-T4, because that would get in the way of connectors for video.

Oh and I'm hoping the X-T5 will finally have an organic sensor.

I'd be happy with a 36 mp sensor. But if 45 or near there is true, it might put the price point to a spot that it wouldn't matter if they released it now. Wishful thinking I know!

That 24mp sensor is simply spectacular!

When the XT3 came out, I tried to save my pennies for it. However, after looking at my budget and my photography goals, I went with a used XT2 in mint condition. There are aspects about the XT3 that I would like over the 2, namely the USB-C port, touch screen and better AF, but the camera still out performs my aging Canon 5DMKII in almost all aspects (other than battery life). Now that the XT4 is out, I will probably pick one of those up and use the XT2 as a second camera. They are all good cameras.
