p.2 #2 · p.2 #2 · I LUV my X-T2... I'm not a video shooter... is there any reason to upgrade to the X-T3 or T4? | |

I upgraded from the T2 to the T4 primarily for IBIS, which has been great. In addition what people mentioned above, there's a lot of quality of life improvements I noticed from upgrading (never tried the T3, so some of these probably apply to that one too):
1) The buttons are all much clicky-er on the T4 than on my T2.
2) There is now a 2 axis level instead of just the horizontal one
3) When shooting raw only and going to zoom on the focus point, you now get the full zoom in; on my T2, the zoom would be a good bit less magnification. On the T2, I'd have to shoot raw+jpeg just so I can critically check focus.
4) The new battery is nice not just because of the increased capacity but the distinct shape. I can't count how many times I put in the old Fuji battery and realize I had it in the wrong orientation since it's an almost perfect rectangular box.
5) The new cameras support Bluetooth and using the app on your phone, you get access to a remote trigger that supports bulb shooting; that's one less thing for me to remember to carry.
6) The new cameras have USB Type C instead of micro, which is nice for traveling if you already use Type C hardware.
7) The shutter on the T4 is much quieter than the T2. You also get access to electronic front curtain.
If you mainly care about image quality though, then it's probably not worth upgrading. ...Show more →
Can you set it up, so only horizontal level line is displayed?
I used to keep it on old the time, T1-T3, it didn't bother me at all, but I can't say so for some other cameras like Nikons, I would turn it on only for landscapes of the tripod.
