This photo was taken at about 7am during the huge forest fire in British Columbia in August 2017. If you look carefully, you can see a sunspot at the bottom half of the Sun on the 1st image

I lived in S.Oregon for a few years when young and lived in the Rogue River Valley near Grants Pass. Forest fires were a common occurance and I had many well within my 10 acres. Scary yet beautiful!! Well done!!
