Excellent set of images in spite of the challenging light. The bird seems to be aware of you but posed beautifully anyway. I really like the first one and the action you captured. Some may complain about the background but I like to see the natural setting even for close up shots like that one.

Thanks Dave for the comments...
99 % of my wildlife photography is in its natural setting, I don't do the backyard setups not that there is anything wrong with that but not for me.
For those that complain about the backgrounds, they can tromp around the forest and pick their own backgrounds....

Gorgeous set Pius! All are great but #1 and the last one are outstanding.

I especially love that last one with the pissed off look he's giving you.
