No doubt I'm missing my normal spring trip to the desert SW. For now, diving into my hard drive and processing some past images will suffice. Note to self: spend more time in New Mexico! (Correction - eastern Arizona!)

Thanks, the settings were 1/20 second @ f 10, ISO 64 75mm

Actually, this place is in Arizona, it's the Little Painted Desert County Park, just north of Winslow.

I was there last June, it's a great spot to watch the sun set!

Yep, thanks for correcting my error and this location is in Arizona. Somewhere other than the Grand Canyon!

Thanks for the comment! I was especially pleased to read your comment regarding the 3-D feel. I really focused on that aspect in processing to add depth to the image. Maybe I was successful.

You might consider dropping the blacks slider to increase the shadow depths and add more emphasis to structures and colors.
