Orphoto, thanks for the suggestions. I do very little post processing and am confused by your suggestion. You suggest increasing the contrast which would result in lighter lights and darker darks and at the same time you suggest what seems to be the opposite in dropping and fading the blacks.

You are correct about the contrast part of it. However, when I say dropping the blacks slider, it means moving it to the left, into negative numbers. That has the effect of deepening and darkening shadows, and hence increasing overall contrast. Doing it on a localized basis, instead of globally, would retain the dreamy misty feeling in the back.

This is from the road/trail. I walked the road in both directions plus did some side trips for a total of at least 6-7 miles. Walking and going slow have helped me to remember and appreciate the place.
