Thanks for the critique. I actually cropped a little from the top, maybe I'll revisit it. I wanted the moon closer to the horizon, but the light wasn't as good until it got higher.

It's true, and it's a futile practice anyway because the photos I take in my head are almost always better (the lighting is always perfect!).
