Great set of shots! I’ve seen you mention a couple times about trying different things to get the R4 working better with the 200-600. Did you write up specifics anywhere? Thanks in advance.

I really believe that avoiding OSS Mode 1 has made the biggest difference. But sometimes I'm just not sure how I'm getting better results.

What a great set Geoff the detail, lighting are amazing. Your stuff is making it very difficult to resist the call of Sony, but I think I will wait for the R5 before making a switch. Beautiful work

Thanks Dave. If I hadn't got the deal I did on the Sony 600 and A7RIV and A9II OR if this pandemic had come earlier then I would have held off to wait and see on the R5 and considered the Canon 600III instead. I would be able to adapt the 600III to my A9 for a lot of use if I needed to or go all in on Canon MILC.

I'm still going to have a good look at the R5 but it would be a big commitment to jump back after my recent big investment into Sony stuff. Regardless, all this modern equipment works well. As long as Canon and Nikon up the game on their current MILC AF systems then all three companies should be competitive. Judging by the 1DXIII, I think Canon have it figured out all ready. Nikon TBD.
