I thought I had posted this, but I can't find it anywhere.

This is the small village of La Grave, a mecca for offpiste / backcountry skiing, with the peak of La Meije surrounded by clouds, and Glacier du Tabuchet on the left.

Nice contrast as if manipulated image, but it is real one.

It was indeed real - I've only seen it that amazing once in six or seven years of going there for a week each spring.
