What lens are you using? I think your images would benefit from a nice, fast prime that softens up the background.

This one may have had potential, but I cannot figure out what that thing is by her chin. Could be her shoulder *or* her knee. With it covered in hair, I am not really sure.

Not sure I can get past the orange skin-tone...

Really like the crop and framing, though.

Thanks. The lens for most of them was a Sony Zeiss 24 1.8. Not a portrait lens I know. Her skin color is naturally very "tan" and she was lit by a setting sun but good suggestion. I can play with the color.

I like the image but there are a few aspects I would like to bring up. The skin tone is too red for my taste, as well, although I realize of the sun was low in the horizon. I would like to see her to look at or at least at the general direction of the sun rather than looking slightly down. I believe you put her a tad too far to the left. With that said, I know that it is easier for me to offer suggestions of what I think would make the image look better but that’s strictly my opinion only, of course.

I like the sun on her skin...a golden color to a beautiful young woman! Yeah I noticed the anomaly with the shoulder/knee(?) but my focus remained on her face and beyond!

After looking at several of your photos, I want to make a serious comment. Bring a hair brush or make sure the model has one on your shoots. The photos all have great potential, but a common theme is stray hair flying all over.

Take an extra second, when you look through the viewfinder or the back of the camera, to see if the hair is out of control. If it is, have the model brush it. It will help you photos have a more "polished" look to them.

Yes (not to beat a dead horse), but this is a comment I made in each one of his posts. This simple tip would have made all of the images quite a bit better.
