Beautiful bird on a stick shot...always interesting to see dark Pacific Merlins as opposed to lighter Prairie that are more common in our area (C. Oregon).

Henrik, an excellent image of the merlin! BTW, I have noticed the same or at least, a similar capability on peregrine falcons.
