I don't know the cause of the bump, the goose appeared to be fine. I'ts gone north so I'll probably never see it again.

Odd. The last image shows it really well. My guess is tumor.

I had the pleasure to see and photograph this same species at Opeongo lake in Canada, it was a rare bird there at the moment so I was super thrilled!
I wonder what caused the bump on this bird's head! Thanks for sharing Morris.
