With my return to M43 from larger, heavier systems, I bought a new rolling bag, another Think Tank, this time an Airport Advantage.. The older bag and system weighed as much as 30 pounds; the new one, even with the Aputure monitor system, weighs only 20 pounds including all four lenses.

I'm meandering about the city of Phoenix during our viruscrisis, staying away from people, etc.. Here are a few from yesterday's trip to the Salt River crossing at 67th Ave.. Coordinates and pic at Google Earth...

One can actually see this large, weird chunk of concrete.

The Salt River bed is almost always dry in Phoenix.. However, due to the higher-than-average rainfall we'll had the last few months, Salt River Project has been relasing water into the Salt because the flood-control lakes upriver are about full.

All shot with my EM1.3, handleld and using HHHR (which I LOVE!).. The first three are with the Oly Pro 12-40/2.8, the 4th thru the Leica 8-18/2.8-4.

Robert, I really like it. I also had one in 2017 with my EM1-2 system. It's small, light, well-resolving, and uses normal, screw-on filters.

Went north today for my daily meander.. These were shot in the town of New River which is maybe 20 miles north of Phoenix on the east side of I-17; Google Earth coordinates https://earth.google.com/web/@33.91...49857122a,149.28929318d,35y,0.00003443h,0t,0r

This is (partial) New River; it's getting to be summer so the water will disappear soon.. The second pic was shot with the EM1-3's Live ND mode which simulates a slow shutter speed for blurring.. The others were shot with HandHeldHighResolution.. I LOVE the 50MP images this pixel-shift mode produces; it's my favorite shooting mode.. FWIW, the rocktops really are sun-bleached white.

Here are a couple abandoned 'houses' on the eastern bank of the river.. The small level area they are on is only a few feet above the lowest portions of the riverbed, which means they'll be flooded every few years during the far-upriver snowmelts each spring.. These two are clearly visible from I-17's right-hand northbound lane.
