"Dida'a Hotsa'a" in the Navajo language (Diné) meaning "the edge or top of it is HUGE!"
This is what the Native landowners I know call the area. The image was taken about 10 years ago, a single handheld shot while leaving what very likely may be the world's largest gooseneck bend. It may be hard to tell here but from this shooting position to the river (you see on the bottom left) is 1.5 miles! Like horseshoe bend on steroids! Last year it became enforced off-limits except through Sacred Edge Tours (Natively owned).
Details for the more inquisitive:

Processing today is always the gold standard workflow of using 32-bit Raw Layers (Smart Object Layers) in Photoshop. This way the computations are in 32-bit with their superior tonal gradations, highlight quality, lack of artifacting and more. That video tutorial will get made soon enough (some have been waiting for it for over a year). If interested you can get on my mailing list. Many may be blown away at how far a person can exploit lossless 32-bit Raw processing today.
All the best to everyone here. Have fun out there!
