Just beginning to look at sliders for video. Checking out several videos online but always appreciate first hand FM feedback. Just starting out so not looking to spend over $300. I do know that ball bearing has got to be best (vs. friction). Something that could be upgraded to motorized would be good, but I'm not sure how far or how fast I'll go with purchases.

I'm a big fan of Rhino sliders. Their motorized motion control systems are terrific, but even their basic fly-wheel sliders are strong options.

I did also research a lot on brands and what these were offering (a gimbal was not a consideration).
As always can one go ballistic in price (Sachtler) and unknown cheap unknown Chinese brands.

Long story short, I went MIOPS and ordered this yesterday through my regular supplier:

The slider is not in stock so might need to wait for 3 weeks but that is fine for me. Why MIOPS?
- Very responsive to my questions
- No pushy sales talk
- Already have their Smart trigger so I will have an eco system
