The other day my wife was looking out the kitchen window and remarked at how pretty a cardinal looked in a tree surrounded by snow. Odd for her as she usually shows no interest. We had a fresh snow this morning so I grabbed my lens hide, threw it over my head and propped my 500 f4 AF-I on the fence and waited for this guy to show up. Maybe after 43 years of marriage my love of birds is beginning to rub off on her
