They'd sell a ton of those.

Or design the sensor assembly so it can rotate all around in different angles! I also heard that other names were going to be insta-R, gram-R, and gramomatic.

Oh, my...
No....

I am finally beginning to see fewer - *ahem* - Dutch angles being used by all of the local aspiring photogs. If you could just leave the sensor cocked 30 deg in camera, they would never ever take a straight photo ever again!!!!

Because it's a joke and if you're plugged into IG it's actually a pretty hilarious article.

Needs more lensballs though. Are you even creative if you can't take a picture of something upside down in a lensball?

I need the sensor cocked at a 3 degree angle and all my horizon-not-level shots would be fixed! Or better yet, put the sensor on an auto-leveling platform! I mean if they can shake the sensor for IBIS, why not auto-level it too? Okay perhaps too serious for this thread but still...

Sony fanboys love to claim that every lens is an IS lens because of IBIS. Wait until Canon fanboys can say that every lens is a Tilt-Shift lens because of IBALS!!!

Yes I personally hate to hear about this bragging point too. But how true is their claim?

There is certainly some advantage, especially for moderate wide to normal ranges. However, I think this advantage becomes less important for telefocal lenses, especially superteles.

I think the biggest benefit that isn't talked about is the possibility for damping shutter and other vibrations. Canon made a big deal about their redesigned shutter mechanism for the 5Ds to reduce vibrations. This only becomes more important on a theoretical 75 MP or beyond.

I have a Fujifilm GA645 that already does this. Great for portraits but a pain for every other shot. Yeah, I do know the article is a joke.
