Honestly I wasn't even sure I wanted to swap to sony but I got the A7RIV with an EDU discount and couldn't pass up the opportunity to switch. I liked the bigger body and the higher resolution EVF. Since having that bigger body I might pick up an A9ii and keep the A7RIV as well. Sometimes in the sports I shoot clients are like 3 or 4 mats away and I can't get full frame when shooting so the extra cropability is pretty helpful because of the resolution.
