I just thought I'd post this here to show the cropping ability of the A7RIV when using a Canon 600mm f4 mkII on a clear night. Seeing conditions were fair due to atmospheric turbulence. Despite that, I'm pleased with the sharpness. Locked down on a Wimberly gimbal. There was enough wind that I'm not sure the tripod I was using is completely up to the task. I also chose to not use stabilization... Maybe it might have helped, but still it's a reasonably sharp image. Significant cropping at about 60%, ISO 800, 1/1600.
