All the way from the US West Coast to South Louisiana, this young male showed up yesterday, much to my delight.

He was a bit shy, and did not stay too long, but I managed a few shots. These are heavy crops as I wanted to give him his space and let him get use to me. I do hope he stays around awhile.

As always , your nits, crits and suggestions are most appreciated.

Thank you for looking. I wish the joy I felt when seeing him was evident in the shots

Birdie

I am sure he will stay, you have the flowers he needs/wants
I am glad you have company again, enjoy it! Hummers are clean and sharp, some areas of BG's have some remnants from processing. I pick #1

Great shots Birdie.

I'm glad he arrived okay as I made sure to give him your address when he left my yard in September

PS. Please return him by March with a beautiful gorget

Appreciate it. No, these were with the 100-400 as I was trying to get some butterflies that I saw.

Wonderful HB images, Birdie! With something like that in in your backyard, you don’t have to go to Ecuador or Costa Rica.
