It's always a fun challenge to work with the 'white' birds for exposure. I can remember one gentleman from the forum from a while back that did such a masterful job with white birds and he left an imprint on me to continue to challenge myself and get better at them.....

Various outings local and one from South Carolina in a 'White Out' mix

Nice set, Karl! My pick is #1 although personally I think it would be a stronger image without the reflection.

OK Karl,

fantastic work on these. I don't know about picking top picks because I'd go against the stream and pick something like 4, 5, 6 or 7. I love how we can see each feather so well defined in those. Excellent work.

Oh and on # 1, someone suggested removing the reflection and I agree. I think without the reflection that photo gets stronger.

Anyhow, the set is excellent and well done my friend and no top picks

Thanks to all for the comments and kind words.

I don't often leave a lot of reflection in as in #1 (Bobby,Lil), gave a little extra on this one to not over tax the crop. Thanks for your opinions on it

Nice series Karl... but, with your title I was expecting to see a different type of snow

I really like the first shot (preening) and the first fly away with the outstretched wings.
