Last EF Tamron I tried on the MC-11, the 45 F1.8, focused like a kick in the nuts.

Tamron simply stated that it wasn't supported and I should by one of their other native lenses.

Might be worth a shot.

Hi Fred, I have the new Tamron 35 f1.4 in EF mount and it works quite well with the MC-11 on my a9. The focusing makes a bit of noise however it's fairly accurate on static subjects however tracking is an issue though as is most non native glass. My EF Tokina 50 f1.4 Opera works extremely well and tracks better than the 35..
