I received a new Nikon 500mm f5.6 pf this morning and couldn't wait to try it out so I went to my HB feeder in my backyard. I am so impressed! The first HB (first three photos) was handheld,1000sec @f8, ISO 4500. The second (last two) was using a tripod, 1/640 @f9, ISO 5000.
I'm a happy camper,

Thank you, Ron. Here is one when the HB turned toward me when he heard the shutter clicking. This lens is crazy sharp!
