One from the Voigtlšnder 75/2.5 (LTM) - a7rII. She's reminding me it's my second shot.

Nothing too fancy, just a couple snaps from Halloween. No crop, no color cast correction.

Another Summicron 28mm picture. I'm unsure whether the sky is slightly overcorrected or just not uniform across the field. Probably f/11, but your guess is as good as mine. (Also, a rare occasion getting photobombed by a ship.)

From the Brooklyn Museum. Even with a 50mm lens at rather close focus distance, color cast can be quite visible. The third image has some gradient layers adjusting luminance and equalizing the yellow color component (ambient light gradients unrelated to the lens characteristics).

Leica Tri-Elmar 16-18-21 on a Sony A7R2. This particular wide angle M worked very well on mirrorless especially at 16mm, I've since sold it and I regretted that decision.

When two young Asian women followed me onto the train and sat across the aisle from me, it was impossible not to notice that one was carrying a Mamiya C330. She started to photograph her friend and I photographed her photographing her friend. When she sat down again, I showed her one of my exposures on the LCD screen, she asked what camera I was using (an A7R3) and we had a conversation about film photography. When I asked her what film she was using, she replied that it was Portra, explaining that she liked its yellows and greens. We got off the train at Newtown where I live and parted ways. Newtown is the main hipster enclave in Sydney and I see lots of young photographers shooting film but they're usually using 35mm cameras. This was my first sighting of a Mamiya C330 in more than 25 years.

Film is coming back big time! I see it more and more often in the greater NYC area these days, too. Certainly a hipster thing but certainly not only limited to this group. We just have to look at online prices for well-known used film gear, and it is clear what is going on.

Oh ya- I live in West Philadelphia, between 3 or 4 major universities. DSLRs are nonexistent, you either see film cameras or cell phones. Film is everywhere and not going away, thankfully!
