Yes there were a good amount of eagles. In the distance. Prob around 150 eagles on the rocks.

Beautiful bald eagle photos, Jerry! Nice exposures and facial determination of the eagle! Wow, 150 eagles! How many flew in the channel between the towers and the line of photographers? Were any perched, eating their catch, next to the parked cars? Were you able to park next to the photographer line? It seems a bit early for the mass eagle population at Conowingo. I recall that the most opportune time to visit Conowingo was around Thanksgiving, has the timing changed? Thanks for sharing.

Eagles are super early this year. There was about 5 to 7 eagle buzzing back and fourth between island and photographer line. Some were eating there catch in the trees but nothing photo worth due to leave and branches blocking the view.

Damn. I was there two weeks ago and there were not that many. Maybe a dozen or so that were readily visible and very few who came very close. Great shots Jerry. I'll have to find a way to get back there someday.
