I'm just now learning to use the Pro Capture feature on my new E-M1 mkII. First impression is that it can generate an awful lot of images to sort through.

Was wondering if any other brands of camera, either DSLR or mirrorless, have this feature or something similar?

Yup several brands has it now. Panasonic for one which is also m43. I know there are others but can't remember which ones but I believe Fuji has it in some cameras?

I am really late to the party with this feature. I have it on several cameras but have never touched it. Let us know how it goes.

@WmPat let me add a thing. Yes it does produce a lot of pictures to go through but those are usually pretty easy to go through. Take the Olympus scenario when they presented it the first time, they had people aim at a water filled balloon and then had someone shoot an arrow through it, capturing the water splash, quite cool. In a situation like that you're quite quickly gonna see which sequence within the sequence is interesting. At 60fps you get so many pictures that are almost identical that it makes it easy. For example you way want one shot where the arrow pierce the balloon and another where the balloon bursts. This way you can delete the first 20 images right away and the last 20 images or so right away. Now you're down to 20 and from those it should also be quite easy to find a sequence of 5 or so to chose from.

@galenapass you should try it! Awesome for perched birds!

That was just one of the selling points to get the M1X. Look forward to using it.
