Neat shots. I do think the flower was placed there , not growing wild. The squirrel was probable curious about this new thing.

You could be right. Its probably quite easy to stage something like this.

If you read the Comments you will see that it's probably a baited/staged shot - the photographer planted the flower with sunflower seeds in the flower to attract the squirrel. Ah well. Fooled me once.

So this was a San Joaquin in April, not staged or baited!
