$350 for the 20mm, 24mm and 35mm. Nice!

However, for the size and filter thread (67mm), I wish they were all f/2.

Really nice price point. I'll be curious to see the performance. While they're bit fat at 73mm, the length of 63.5mm puts them slightly shorter than my L25. Not bad at all.

MTF for the 35mm looks pretty darn good at f/2.8, at any price point:

So, really nobody is going to do a 28mm, like ever.

Sorry, carry on.

Price point is almost revolutionary.

The new Tamron offerings complete available FE lens line in a very positive way. As full frame is coming more affordable, we need reasonably good quality and moderately priced lenses.

My only gripe - why did Tamron forget the 28mm focal length?

Also hoping for a 28mm. Could be the model number F052 missing in this series:

20mm F/2.8 Di III OSD M1:2(Model F050)
24mm F/2.8 Di III OSD M1:2(Model F051)
35mm F/2.8 Di III OSD M1:2(Model F053)

Nice finding engel001 ! There's hope...
For forumers based in Europe, the 20mm is available in pre-order and priced at 449 € in one of the main French shops (digit-photo).

I'm seeing it for €435 here at the local retailer, which is a bit of a shame. I know I'll be on the lookout for one of those accidental deals on Amazon IT/FR/ES. I was expecting a euro price around €350.

I agree, I can't believe there is apparently no market for a 28mm lens. I am hoping Loxia announces one later this month... The Tamron 35mm F2.8 looks a like a super nice travel lens though! We'll have to wait and see how it renders.

Am anxious to see that 35mm tested against the Sony & Samyang versions. I've always had good luck with Tamron lenses so I'm curious.

The 20mm is also interesting for $350, wonder how close the performance will be to the Batis 18?

Maybe because of the FE28F2 that's only $100 more? For the three FL offered Sony doesn't have anything close in price. If these 3 sell well, and I think they will, then you'll probably get your wish eventually.

Is there a time-frame for availability? I'm looking at that 24. I thought I'd originally seen that the 20 would be available this year, but now are they all for 2020?

I'm greatly disappointed in the size of the trio, much larger than the teaser pix looked. I was hoping for something the size of the Zony 35 and Samyang 35 & 24. Hopefully they will sell like hotcakes and Sigma or Sony will come out with some actually compact f2.8s.

Kind of excited about the 20. Significantly smaller than my Sigma 20.

The thing that really is a plus for me is the close focus/magnification ability. The only question that remains for me is how well it'll actually perform.

Much like I tell my wife when she's trying to convince me of how good of a deal something is, just because a turd is 50% cheaper than something else doesn't make it not a turd. Hoping this Tammy isn't one.

I'd much rather have seen f2 lenses. If I want 2.8, I'd much rather get the 17-28 zoom which gives you a much wider option as well as being 2.8.

I would definitely rather have a pancake lens than 1:2 macro. I think Tamron wanted to differentiate, and I'm not a fan of the size either, but 200g is very tolerable.... and for that reason, I only got the 20, I wouldnt mind 24 as well, but I'm looking for smallest especially shortest I can get.

The MTF looks a bit better than the 17-28 zoom, and the zoom is pretty good. Bokeh looks great as well from the web samples.

this definitely makes it a tough sell, the 17-28 is legit small and range is nice. I still like the release because if you're using only one lens, it's half the size and weight. This may not be a big deal, but if you're carrying multiple lenses, it can add up. I can see myself paring the 20 with a 50 or 85, ultra small and rangy setup that can get a good variation of shots.
